Acheré Percussion Awarded PHL Made Grant by Philadelphia Department of Commerce

We are excited to announce that Acheré Percussion has been selected to participate in the prestigious PHL Made Grant program, launched by the Philadelphia Department of Commerce. This grant is a significant milestone for our small, artisan business, as it reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation within the local manufacturing community.

The PHL Made Grant is designed to support the growth of manufacturing companies in Philadelphia, fostering innovation and helping businesses expand their reach and impact. This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission at Acheré Percussion: to create high-quality, handmade percussion instruments that honor traditional Latin craftsmanship while embracing new ideas and techniques.

Being awarded this grant is not only a recognition of the work we do but also a tremendous opportunity for us to further develop our craft. The funding and resources provided through the PHL Made Grant will enable us to invest in new tools, materials, and processes that will enhance the quality and diversity of our products. It will also allow us to explore new ways to engage with our community and share the rich cultural heritage of Latin percussion.

At Acheré Percussion, every drum we make is a reflection of our dedication to preserving and advancing the art of handmade instruments. This grant will support our ongoing efforts to push the boundaries of what is possible in drum-making, while staying true to the traditions that inspire us.

We are grateful to the Philadelphia Department of Commerce for this opportunity and excited about the future possibilities it opens up for Acheré Percussion. As we move forward, we look forward to continuing our journey of innovation, growth, and community engagement, all while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship that our customers have come to expect.

Stay tuned for more updates on how we are using the PHL Made Grant to take Acheré Percussion to the next level, and thank you for your continued support of our work.
